Tiny Rhythm
Disclaimer
Effective date: 30 July 2026
Tiny Rhythm helps you *record* your baby's day. It does not practice medicine. Please read this page — it is short, and it matters.
Not medical advice
Tiny Rhythm is not a medical device and provides no medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing shown in the app — logs, charts, summaries, reminders, reference hints — is a substitute for the professional judgment of a pediatrician, doctor, nurse, midwife, lactation consultant, or pharmacist who knows your child. Using the app does not create a doctor–patient relationship with anyone.
Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional with any question about your child's health, and never disregard or delay professional advice because of something recorded or displayed in Tiny Rhythm.
In an emergency
If you believe your child may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or your doctor immediately. Do not spend time consulting the app.
About the reference information in the app
Some screens include general reference information. It is provided for orientation only, and none of it is tailored to your child:
- Growth curves use the World Health Organization (WHO) child growth standards. Many countries use their own national charts, so the percentile your pediatrician quotes may differ. Percentiles describe populations; only your pediatrician can interpret your child's growth.
- Milk storage hints in the Milk Stash follow general CDC guidance for storing expressed milk (refrigerated, frozen, deep-frozen). Guidance varies by country and by circumstance (for example, premature or ill infants); follow the advice of your own health professionals.
- Temperature notes (such as the common threshold for fever) are general orientation, not an assessment of your child. Fever thresholds and what they mean depend on age, measurement method, and clinical context.
- Medicine and vaccine lists exist only to make typing easier. The presence of a medicine name in the app is not a recommendation to use it. All decisions about medicines — whether to give one, which one, how much, and how often — belong with your doctor or pharmacist. Repeat intervals in the app are reminders you configured, not dosing instructions.
- The "Under the weather" card, food-reaction flags, and similar summaries are conveniences computed from entries *you* made. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, and they detect nothing on their own.
Reminders can fail — never rely on them for critical care
Notifications may be delayed, silenced, or not delivered at all due to silent mode, Focus settings, Low Power Mode, a powered-off device, system behavior, or software error. Do not rely on Tiny Rhythm for the timing of medication or any other critical care task. Use it as a note-taker, not a safety mechanism.
Your entries, your responsibility
Everything the app shows is computed from what you (and your caregivers) entered. Typos, missed logs, and device clock changes will be faithfully reflected in charts and summaries. Verify anything important — especially anything you plan to show a clinician — against your own records and memory.
Acceptance
By using Tiny Rhythm you confirm that you understand and accept this disclaimer. It forms part of our Terms of Use.
